DemiDec is a California-based corporation that creates resources aligning with the USAD and World's Scholar Cup competitions. I have worked to create nearly 100 pages and 75 slides of mathematics and science content alongside nearly 600 practice questions pertaining to mathematics, literature, and social science.

Beaumont Technologies, Software Intern
Beaumont Technologies provides plastic injection molding services and develops novel technologies to aid companies in the process. My role within this internship has involved shadowing a plastics engineer and working with the development of the Therma-floâ„¢ software.

Computer Science Club
Founder and President
The Computer Science Club strives to use computer programming to give back to the community! The club also works to establish a collaborative environment among those at McDowell High School interested in computer science. I have led the creation of an annual Winter Wonderland light show through this club.

United States Academic Decathlon
President
United States Academic Decathlon (USAD) is one of the most well-known academic competitions across the nation! The activity involves study in the areas of mathematics, music, art, literature, science, social science, and literature, in addition to speeches, interviews, and essays. I have worked to create engaging resources and lessons for the team, while also planning and coordinating activities during practices.

Honors College
Leadership Board Member & Co-President
The Honors College is an application-based program that fosters high school students' experience at McDowell. During my sophomore year, I have also been active in the leadership board and have contributed to building the program. As co-president, I have worked to reorganize the board into a committee structure to optimize efficiency.

BigFuture Ambassador, College Board
As a member of the BigFuture Ambassador program, I am a liaison between McDowell High School and the College Board's BigFuture program. In particular, I have worked to spread information regarding BigFuture to my peers as a panelist on a BigFuture Live event and through local initiatives. Due to my extensive work with this program, I was interviewed and featured in the 2023 BigFuture Ambassadors recruitment video as well.

Student Advisory Council
Initiated by McDowell High School's administrative team, the Student Advisory Council consists of ten juniors and seniors to represent the student body in monthly discussions with the administrative team. I have actively worked on sharing my experiences and communicating possible improvements to assure the fulfillment of this group's purpose.

Math Club
Higher Level Math Committee Head
As committee head of the higher-level math committee, I organized two tables at our school's Pi Day event. My committee also gave a presentation on the Fibonacci sequence and its significance on Fibonacci Day (11/23).

As a member of the Ruth B. Zeisloft Chapter of the National Honor Society at McDowell High School, I have demonstrated leadership and service throughout my school and community.

FIRST Robotics
In FIRST Robotics, I have been aiding with the software aspect of the robot competition. Within the program, the McDowell Robotics team creates and programs a robot to complete the tasks it is instructed to pursue.

Student Leader Focus Group
This group was started and is managed by the assistant principal of McDowell Intermediate High School and strives to obtain student input for improving the school and campus environment. Invited students meet weekly to discuss issues and take measures to address concerns at McDowell High School.

The AP Club is a club for students in higher-level classes and allows for study groups and a community of like-minded peers. Last year, I worked extensively to expand the club and recruit new members through announcements and various outreaches.

Treasurer
Renamed after the consolidation of the Student Council and Character Crew at Walnut Creek, I aided in organizing fundraisers, school dances, and homecoming parades, alongside creating videos to represent school character!

United States Academic Pentathlon
United States Academic Pentathlon is the middle school-version of USAD (United States Academic Decathlon). This activity entailed competitions in the subject areas of mathematics, science, social science, fine arts, and literature.
